Some Instruction Points
The Three Fundamental Gun Safety Rules:
1. ALWAYS keep the gun pointed in a safe direction.
2. ALWAYS keep your finger off the trigger until ready to shoot.
3. ALWAYS keep the gun unloaded until ready to use. 

The Six Fundamentals of Pistol Shooting:
1.  Position                       4. Sight Alignment
2. Grip                            5. Trigger Squeeze
3. Breath Control             6. Follow-Through

Shot Group Placement:
If the majority of your shots are grouped outside the center of the target, look at the pictures below (left-handed shooters look at the left hand picture, right-handed shooters look at the one on the right) to see what makes the shots group in those places.
